Advisory Committees

The BCPVPA convenes the following Advisory Committees to the Board of Directors. Members receive an annual invitation to apply to these committees which are each comprised of seven BCPVPA members, along with two Directors as Co-Chairs and two staff to support the meetings.

Budget Advisory Committee 

The Budget Advisory Committee reviews the budget and associated processes, and prepares advice and recommendations to accompany the budget when it is presented to the Board of Directors.

Indigenous Leadership Advisory Committee

The Indigenous Leadership Advisory Committee advises the Board on matters relating to Indigenous leadership.

Member Well-being Advisory Committee

The Member Well-being Advisory Committee advises the Board regarding the ways in which the Association can address issues of well-being for our members.

Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Committee

The EDI Advisory Committee advises the Board on matters relating to equity, diversity, and inclusion – including but not limited to – racism, oppression, and SOGI-related issues.

Professional Learning and Development Advisory Committee

The PLD Advisory Committee advises the Board with respect to professional development programs and service to members.
