Our Events
The BCPVPA hosts conferences and forums for our members and friends, inviting the expertise of local, Canadian, and international speakers and thought leaders. Each event offers the opportunity for deep learning and connection.

BCPVPA Connecting Leaders Conference
This year's conference begins with a Thursday evening reception on October 22, in celebration of National Principals’ Month.
On Friday, the BCPVPA is pleased to welcome bestselling author and award-winning scholar Dr. Robyne Hanley-Dafoe, connecting with attendees on the theme: "Everyday Resiliency How to Master Working and Living Well." And, on Saturday morning, writer, researcher, and community advocate for Indigenous Youth wellness and leadership, Dr. Sean Lessard, reflects on the importance of presence and trust when working with youth, and the role that educators and leaders play as advocates and allies.
