Welcome Back, BCPVPA Members!

We hope that you have had a great summer break and feel rested, refreshed and recharged!

We are also very pleased to welcome our new members to the BCPVPA, and to this first newsletter of the school year. Every week in eNews, we share a message from the President along with updates on our programs, sector news and guest columns. If you have questions or feedback about eNews, contact sandra@bcpvpa.bc.ca.

Leading: Back to School

Our annual Leading: Back to School digital magazine is now available. You’ll find articles from your colleagues, BCPVPA staff, and other educators and experts, sharing tips and tools for back to school and thoughtful articles to provide inspiration on your leadership journey. We’ll also share featured articles each week in eNews. For information about BCPVPA publications, contact sandra@bcpvpa.bc.ca

BCPVPA Thriving in Education Survey

Thank you again to the more than BCPVPA 1,000 members who completed the Thriving in Education Survey in May. Rochelle has been engaged in reviewing the data with Verita HR Services, as there is a great deal of complex information to assess, collate and connect. Last week, Rochelle presented the Executive Survey of outcomes to the BCPVPA Board of Directors. We expect to have a preliminary report available to members soon.

Seeking Storytellers

We would like to invite BCPVPA leaders who are women of colour to contribute their voices to a proposed upcoming article in Principl(ed) magazine. This collaborative article would weave together the stories and perspectives of several women to talk about their leadership paths, the challenges, the rewards and where they find inspiration.

If you are interested, please contact Sandra Murphy.
