Connecting Leaders Conference 2021

Thank you to everyone who attended the Connecting Leaders Conference: Leading for Equity on October 21 and 22. We had more than 700 member and friends register for the event, and many of those members gathered in local ‘hubs throughout the province. Keynote Anna Maria Tremonti reminded us that the words and phrases we use matter, and that courageous conversations are ones where we are not afraid to listen. Nouman Ashraf reminded us that leadership work is people work, and that leaders need to let go of their perfection mindset and embrace a growth mindset. Candy Palmater reminded us to be consistent as leaders, and tasked us in the coming weeks to do one act of reconciliation for ourselves, and a second act outwardly. Candy also left us with the prompt “If you are one of those people sitting on a dream, I am here to tell you it is never too late.”

Information about the 2022 Connecting Leaders Conference will be available soon.
