An Introduction to The 4 Essential Roles of Leadership®

Peter Johnston | BCPVPA Director of Professional Learning and Development

How can school leaders stay ahead of the constant change when so much in education is changing so quickly? With the 4 Essential Roles of Leadership© as a foundation, school leaders can consciously lead themselves and their schools.

An Introduction to Compassionate Systems Leadership

David DeRosa | Rossland Summit School (SD 20) Director, BCPVPA Board of Directors

In a time when individual energy reserves are being taxed, when change feels like a constant, and processes seem to intertwine with contradictions, a Compassionate Systems approach to leadership can help. Using the Compassionate Systems Leadership framework, program, school, and district leaders are invited to reflect on their experiences and the pressure of their unique leadership roles.
