Tuesday, March 8th is International Women's Day. It's a day to celebrate the achievements of women and girls, and to continue breaking barriers, challenging biases, and moving towards a gender equal world. Remember to use the collective hashtag #BreakTheBias if you are making a social media post on March 8.

This month, humanworks Rehabilitation Consultant Darby Eakins offers her advice on how you can make the most of your Spring Break, ensuring that you use your time off to truly take a rest and honour the challenges you have overcome this school year. 

Darby is a registered clinical counsellor who describes her work calling as ‘caring for people who care for people’. Darby has worked supporting leaders and workers in complex human serving systems (health care and education) for over a decade. At this time, she specifically supports teachers and school leaders and finds deep joy and honour in her work.
