Indigenous Resources for Educators and Learners
Thursday, June 9 at 4pm for 1 hour With Indigenous Advisor, Jenna Jasek

In this workshop, Jenna Jasek, Indigenous Advisor to The Outdoor Learning Store, will share her perspectives on some of her favourite Indigenous learning resources. Jenna is also the District Vice Principal of Indigenous Learning and Equity for Rocky Mountain School District No. 6. As an Indigenous person she is learning about her culture and loves learning about traditional teachings and knowledge of nature. She strives to provide students opportunities to explore, learn and immerse themselves in the outdoors and outdoor education.

BC Ministry of Education & Child Care News

Anti-Racism Resources: An inventory of over 200 anti-racism resources is now available through Focused Educational Resources. These anti-racism resources have been compiled by a diverse group of BC community organizations and evaluated by Focused Education Resources using criteria that ensures resources are aligned with the BC curriculum. These resources will be available in a searchable format through the ShareEdBC platform on June 10. This inventory includes recommended resources on anti-racism, human rights, diverse cultural experiences, and the history and contributions of IBPOC people in Canada.
