Historical, Systemic and Intersectional Anti-racism: From Awareness to Action
This week, we share a learning opportunity that was recommended by one of our Board Directors during the June 15 Coffee Connections. This course is developed by the UBC Faculty of Education for educators but is beneficial for anyone working in schools. Anyone can take the course at no cost, so feel free to take it yourself or recommend it to colleagues and staff.
The "course will systemically cover and uncover implicit and explicit forms of historic, systemic and institutional racisms and their colonial and intersectional impacts on marginalized peoples and their communities in the past and in contemporary times."
